Haha, I'm back after a few days of rest from the convention. I'm still pretty tired but pretty satisfied with how everything went. Of course, I only with Sunday, so sadly I wasn't able to experience the other things they had on Friday and Saturday.
Anyway, the new location for this year's convention was lovely. At least the view and area was great for just hanging out and taking pictures. Though, for those in NY it may be a problem for them to get there since it's more in NJ and it's a mile or two to get there from the train station. Lucky AN took that into consideration and provided shuttle buses to make it easier for people to get there.
Highlights:
The Dealer's Room - I didn't find everything I plan on getting but it was still packed with great stuff. Yup, it was great to see some other things like a lot of DBZ, Pokemon and some less popular anime/games. However, I was disappointed when I saw that there wasn't any sales for it being Sunday, the last day of the con. I seriously thought some prices for things would at least go down by 4 or 5 dollars. (At least, it went down last year on a Sunday.) Really, I saw a kitty hat for $20 and while exploring there was also another kitty hat for $27. Obliviously, the cheapest ones make more sales. If only a little more dealers thought more about that.
Panels - For being a Sunday there really wasn't much interesting panels going on. There was only one that I really wanted to go to that was good. The Square-Enix Panel IV which was fun and just
enjoyable to hear what they thought about the games and some insight of them.
Food - There's no good places to eat nearby, and the con food is expensive. We just went to Ruby Tuesday to get something to eat. Oh, and if you plan to get something to eat, somewhere around the convention than expect to be stared at if you're cosplaying. XD Really....the area is not use to cosplayers and anime conventions yet. Haha, totally funny to see people minding their business and suddenly a couple of cosplayers come in and people are like WTF?!
Money spent...
Admission: $30
Demyx Plushie - $20
Kitty Hat - $20
Model Vol. 3 (manga) - $8.00
Large Grimmjow print - $3.00
Vincent print - $5.00
10 Buttons - $10.00
3 posters - $6.00
Devil May Cry Vol. 1 (DVD) - $5.00
Samurai 7 Vol. 5, Vol. 7, Vol 2. - $30.00
GRAND TOTAL: $ 137.00
Thoughts:
I really wish there was some more Devil May Cry stuff (I would have so rob people of Dante stuff with my money first). They at least had a few Resident Evil stuff. Well, I did see some action figures and cosplayers but not much of DMC (only a few cosplayers though). I also thought there would be more plushies but nope, not really. Just the a lot of Naruto characters and well that's all I saw. Maybe it was just me but I didn't see pocky anywhere.
So all in all, I had a great time. At some points I was pretty bored but mostly it was better being there than at home doing nothing.

Imagine you are in a zombie apocalypse...
Imagine you’re in a zombie apocalypse. You’re face with the option to either let a severely injured character die so that they turn into a zombie or to kill them before they do.
Most will probably say that they’ll attempt to save the character’s life. If they can’t, they’ll keep them company and then kill them before they come back. Or that it depends on many other factors like where this is scenario happening, if there’s time to save or kill them (and how), if the character in question is worth it and so on.
However, what if this this character is someone that isn’t good? They have done a lot
Fanfiction Its That Time Of The Month...
Its become common knowledge that majority of fanfiction writers are predominantly female, many of which are teenagers. I bring this up because many of them aren’t afraid to write about menstruation when it comes to their female human main characters. It’s a natural biological process. There’s nothing to be ashamed of about it. But many other stories, such as TV shows and movies, even in some books, its something that doesn’t seem to exist for their human female characters. It is rarely even indirectly alluded to.
The only time this biological process is hinted at is when there’s a pregnancy going on, a young gir
Social Anxiety
This may be something that you may or may not wonder about me: why do I take so long in texting or calling you back? Even more so, when it’s been a while since the last time I’ve talked to you. The problem isn’t you, it’s never you, it’s me. It sounds like some ridiculous breakup excuse, but it is the truth.
It happens every single time I’m put into this situation. I’m not joking. It could be with friends, family, or a random stranger. Outside I appear neutral, but internally I’m freaking out in what to say and what to do.
It’s even worst when I’m the one that wants to talk to some
Pokemon Go - Not All Stories Are True
I’ve noticed lately that there’s been a lot of fake articles about people playing Pokemon Go being robbed, killed, and so on. Some of the articles I’ve googled to read more about don’t actually exist and those that do are on questionable websites that don’t provide any evidence. An legit news source, the GQ Magazine investigated most of the Pokemon Go stories that people have been spreading around. Even other sites like The Washington Post, The Telegraph,BuzzFeed News, Gizmodo and Snopes also looked into it.
I wish people did a bit of research to verify whether or not the news they hear is true, especially on Tum
