Do NOT remove someone’s (especially the artists) caption to a image they’ve made.
Do NOT remove the source, especially when it leads to the original content. The artist deserves to be credit, they put work, time and effort into the piece of art!
Do NOT save and repost images to your own blog or website. This is annoying, especially when the artist has already put it up on Tumblr. Instead search for the original post and reblog that. After all, it’s only takes TWO clicks to reblog. Reposting actually takes more effort, so no, it’s not “easier” to do.
Do NOT delete and then re-add a caption just so that your url shows up as “credit”.
Do NOT reblog just to add your url (or to replace the caption) so that you can self promote.
Do NOT crop or remove the watermark. Or worst, replace it with your own url/watermark. You wouldn’t like your stuff stolen, so don’t be a thief!
Do NOT post images when the artist, photographer or whatnot has stated that they don’t want their work to be posted anywhere else. So please, check with the person! Most people, such as artists (especially on pixv) don’t want their work posted. So make sure that you have their permission first!
Lastly, don’t be a jerk if someone asks you to properly source the image, or to undo what you did or if they ask you to remove it (especially listen to them if they’re the creator of the image/art).
